The report CSV contains the confirmed annual source rows used in the New York Construction Injury Report.
The monthly incident CSV comes from the NYC Department of Buildings “Construction-Related Incidents” dataset on NYC Open Data (ID bf97-mjsy). Its incident records run through 2026-09-04; DOB last updated the rows on 2026-09-09, and we retrieved them on 2026-09-10.
The monthly refresh workflow is scheduled for the 3rd of each month. New counts reach this site after the refreshed data is reviewed and published.
Methodology
The report CSV contains only rows marked CONFIRMED in an independent source check. Values were not inferred where direct source verification was unavailable. Each row retains its source, URL, year, geography and definition.
NYC DOB counts building construction incidents, injuries and fatalities under its jurisdiction. Its site scope is narrower than the statewide BLS measures in the report. Injury counts can differ from incident counts because an incident can injure more than one person. Read the full methodology.
